Privacy Policy
Captain Spurlin's Casino, by Spurlin Games · Last updated 15 September 2026
This policy covers the game Captain Spurlin's Casino on the web, iOS and Android, and this website. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
What we collect
Everything the game stores about a player, in full:
| What | Why |
|---|---|
| An anonymous player ID issued by Unity Authentication | So your coins are still yours next time you open the game. It is a random string, not derived from your identity. |
| Your coin balance, and the record of every change to it | A balance nobody can audit is a balance we cannot fix when something goes wrong. |
| The rounds you played — game, stake, payout, time | Settling rounds, and answering "this did not pay" with a fact. |
| Fairness seeds tied to your account | They let you verify after the fact that a result was not chosen to beat you. |
| When you last played | Retiring dormant accounts. |
We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, location, advertising ID or device fingerprint. The game asks for no permissions. If you email support, we have your email address because you sent it to us, and we use it to reply to you.
Who else is involved
- Unity Technologies provides the engine and the anonymous sign-in. Unity may collect limited device and diagnostic information under its own player privacy policy.
- Our hosting and CDN providers process requests to run the game and keep standard server logs, including IP addresses, for security and abuse prevention. We do not join those logs to your player ID.
- Apple and Google, if you install the app from their stores, under their own policies. We receive no personal information from them.
We do not sell or share your information, and there is nobody else in the chain.
How long we keep it
Your player record lives until you ask us to delete it, or until the account has been dormant long enough that we retire it. Server logs are short-lived and held by our providers under their retention policies.
Deleting your data
Email [email protected] with your player ID — in the game, Settings ▸ About — and ask for deletion. Your player record goes, and with it the balance, the coin history, the seeds and every round you played. This is a real delete, not a flag on a row. It cannot be undone, and your coins do not come back.
You can also ask what we hold about you, and we will send it. Depending on where you live you may have further rights over that data — to correct it, to object to its processing, or to complain to a regulator. Ask us and we will act on it; we are not going to make you prove a jurisdiction first.
Children
Captain Spurlin's Casino is a simulated-gambling game for adults: you must be 18 or older to play. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has an account, email us and we will delete it.
Security
Traffic between the game and our servers is encrypted. Your balance is held and changed only on our servers — the game on your device cannot alter it — which is as much a security measure as a fairness one.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, we will update the date at the top and say what changed. In particular, this policy describes a game with no ads and no purchases; if that ever changes, this page changes first.
Who we are
